Parmesan spinach & pasta


Parmesan Spinach & Pasta

1/2 package cooked small shells or orecchiette pasta

2 cups rinsed fresh spinach

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 small yellow onion, chopped

3 tbsps butter

1 cup whipping cream

3/4 cup parmesan cheese

1/2 cup chopped pecans


  • Cook butter, garlic and onion in saucepan over medium heat for approximately 3 minutes or until onions are translucent.
  • Add cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until mixture has thickened.
  • Combine pasta, spinach, sauce, parmesan cheese and pecans together, and mix until the cheese has melted and the spinach has wilted.
